| Ca na Maria is in the lovely valley of Cala Santanyi,
with the deep white sand beach only 25 metres from the front door,
it is an ideal location for a family holiday. Close by are tennis
courts and pedaloes for hire, a scuba diving and windsurfing school
and diving platform in the bay. The villa has 1 double and 5 twin
bedrooms, 2 with en-suite bathrooms, 1 more bathroom and a shower
room. The large lounge/dining room has French doors opening to
a terrace with teak sunloungers, 10 seater table and gas barbecue.

| The kitchen has a ceramic hob and fan oven, dishwasher,
microwave and is very well equipped. Other amenities include CD/radio,
satellite TV, washing machine and fans in all rooms.
The villa is set within its walled garden, newly planted with
scented climbers and herb bed, with off road parking for one car
in front of the garage. There are several restaurants in the valley
and a small supermarket selling food and many other items. Santanyi
(3km) has excellent shopping facilities. Cala Santanyi is situated
only 3km from Santanyi, a traditional town with few modern buildings.
Twice-weekly markets are held in the main square selling fruit,
vegetables, fish, flowers, clothing etc. There are several banks,
bakers, post office, 24hr clinic, many other shops and 3 supermarkets,
2 of which have specialist counters. |
| This part of the island is known for its beautiful
beaches, as well as Cala Santanyi, are Es Trenc 5kms long, Cala
Llombards, S’Amarador & Cala Mondrago, there is also
an 18 hole golf course at Cala D’or, all of these are about
15 minutes drive. Cala Figuera, the next inlet, is a very pretty
fishing port, known as ‘the Venice of Mallorca’.
There are over 200 caves on the island, many of which are spectacular
and can be toured. Palma 55kms, is a beautiful city, with excellent
shops, a castle, a magnificent cathedral and many other attractions.
Manacor is known for its cultured pearls, Inca for its leather
goods and the west coast for its wonderful scenery. |
